I’m factory trained & certified by Faux Effects, General Finishes, CeCe Caldwell’s, Chalk & Clay Paints and American Clay Plasters to sell & train applications using their products and offering my knowledge and skills learned from 44 years in my Painting and Decorative Wall Finishes Business.

Teaching about our products and applications is required when buying and using designer finishes. DIYers go on Facebook daily seeking help for their project. Basic knowledge makes the finish USER-FRIENDLY! Kitchen/Baths/Cabinets and furniture makeovers are the most asked for classes so the FURNITURE REFORM SCHOOL came into being.

Hone Your Skills

Vintage Paint and Plasters

• 2 color layers with gentle wear appearance on the molding.

Reform School Finish

Personal training on your furniture @$30.00 an hour + materials using any and all products for a unique

BASIC MILK PAINT & COMBO WITH CLAY • $150.00 • 4 hours

  • 2 colour layers with gentle wear appearance on a picture frame.
  • 2 colour layers using a chalk basecoat & a crackled topcoat with milk paint on a board- add $30.00 for application on a cabinet door.

FAUX EFFECTS LUSTERSTONE • $185.00 • 4 hours

  • On a 4 X 4 drywall board. Can use full board with 3 coats of 1 colour or divide board and use 2 colours. We will discuss Lusterstone finishes and applications so that you can complete your walls.

FAUX EFFECTS GLAZE DISCUSSION • $60.00 • 2 hours

  • Wall Glaze applications & techniques. Cabinet prep work, base coat, glazing & top coats.

CUSTOM CABINET FINISHES

  • Using any products in house as well as added embellishments if required. Pricing depends on needs.

STENCILLING

  • Using various designs & applications including embossing/embedding plasters. Call for pricing.

AMERICAN CLAY PLASTER • $180.00 • 4 hours

  • On a 4’ X 4’ drywall board. Basic workshop using Loma Plaster & discussing all products.

Intermediate • $125.00 • 2 hours

  • On a 4’ X 4’ board after lunch (on their own) using Porcelina Finish.

UNEARTHED CLAY PAINT • $60.00 • 4 hours

  • On a 15” X 20” 1. Poster board with discussion about products.

LIME PAINT • $75.00 • 2 hours

  • On a 15” X 20” poster board with discussion about products.

All workshops to be paid in advance and nonrefundable, but can re-schedule once.  Chalk & Clay Basic attendees receive a discount on 3 sample jars of paint for $25.00 & kits are also available upon request.
